Hi robin bro, using iphone 7 & after updated ios 15.8, Instagram app getting crash consecutively…i reset my phone, app uninstalled and again reinstalled, still nothing changes 
if its specific to instagram app, then problem might be specific to the latest update came in instagram bro. give 2 or 3 days time mostly they aware and fix it with another update. temporarily you can try force restarting the iPhone once. Then use instagram temporarily in safari browser.
