iPhone 17 promax mobile data issue

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue regarding unusually high mobile data consumption on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, which I purchased in October 2025.

Within just 5 minutes, the device consumed approximately 1.5 GB of mobile data, mostly shown under “System Data/General Data” usage. This level of data consumption is abnormal and is causing inconvenience in my daily usage.

I request you to kindly:

  1. Investigate the cause of excessive data usage,

  2. Check for any network-related issues, and

  3. Provide guidance or a solution to prevent further unexpected data consumption.

I am attaching relevant screenshots of data usage for your reference (if needed).

Kindly look into this matter at the earliest and provide a suitable resolution.

Hi bro, I have created a video about it sometime ago. explaining the possible reasons.

If it says system data then its possibly software update related. Do check if you have settings - general - software update - automatic updates toggle ON. Turn it off.

Then go to settings - apps - appstore - app downloads, app updates toggles ON. turn them off if you dont want these services to use data automatically in background.

That will help fixing the issue.
