hello bro, are you using any specific app to do the file download? normally background file downloads supported in safari browser and if any app allows background downloads then it will work.
if the app dont have background downloads supported then it wont work bro. we have to keep the browser tab or app open to complete the download.
No special application to use for downloading, bro Telegram to download a video only if it is in Telegram, the video will be downloaded without screen lock, otherwise it will not be downloaded.
Yes bro. Telegram is not yet supporting background downloads. so we have to keep the app open unfortunately till they release an update to support iOS background app downloads feature.
