Hello bro, its smart decision to buy applecare+ plan. you can spread the info about airpods 4 availability with you among your friends whatsapp group first. then list it in olx and mention the details that you bought it from apple india website and proper bill copy is there and selling it for best pricing.
Olx buyers may negotiate, so price it accordingly if you are planning to give 500 or 1000 price discount when they visit in person.
meet in public place and once deal closed, you can hand over airpods to the buyer and let them setup with their iPhone. Before making payment connecting airpods with others iPhone is not a recommended way. as you have to bill copy and airpods properly sealed, they can check the airpods right in front of you and complete the purchase.

Bro, as I said earlier I placed the order on 18th and received both macbook air m4 and airpods 4 yesterday and I even joined the apple complimentary session to setup my new macbook. Yesterday night I was checking my macbook’s exterior closely with a torch and found a scratch of length more than 2 inches near apple logo and I also checked the macbook carefully once again and found the gap between the top lid and the bottom plate where the hinge is located seems to be wavy, on one side the gap is more than the other side.
Next I checked the airpods 4 and found two small but noticeable scratches on one of the pods.
Today morning I contacted apple support and they asked me to share the photo (since the colour is midnight, it was very difficult to capture a photo of the scratch and even the scratch itself can only be seen from a certain angle) I shared the attached photo and elaborated the issue and they were very helpful and gave me two options whether to have my macbook’s hinge checked or replace both my products. I opted for replacement bro, they have initiated the replacement and it seems like it may take few days or 2 weeks at maximum. But I think it’s worth the wait considering the hefty sum of Rs. 89900 that I paid.
Have you experienced anything like this bro. Does apple india sucks at quality control. Anyways, I am greatful that they are replacing both the products. I think if it’s an offline store, people can easily check for any defects or scratches then and there and can save the time waiting for replacement.
I forgot to thank you for the tips on selling the airpods 4 bro. Will try it once I receive the replacement products.

Its very rare bro. me and my friends bought several apple products from apple india website and havent noticed any such cosmetic damages till date. no reports from our audiences too. so this may be an exception. One good thing is, apple service provides good after sales support so far.
Within 60 days if we apply applecare+ the mac is protected completely for 3 years total. for any physical damage we will be able to claim at low price compared to full service or repair cost.
Always record clear video while unboxing in outdoor lighting conditions. give closer look of the product during the recording. so incase of any such damages we can use it as a proof to claim replacement. makes the work lot easier bro.
You are lucky in this case after 2 to 3 days they are accepting returns. proceed with it and share your experience after the new units delivered.
