I’m planning to exchange my phone with my brother who is using Android. How to continue using my iCloud subscription and I have couple of lifetime apps purchased while my brother uses it.
Need some advice on this bro.
hello bro, its good to let him create new apple id and setup his iPhone. using your apple id limits him from using any of the apps he want to use normally. notes, contacts, safari browser and all other icloud services syncs as per your account. so if you are using same apple id in your device he wont be able to use messages, facetime app too.
Apps sharing is not possible too bro. you have purchased it on your apple id, so when he changes apple id on that devices its fresh setup.
Important note: on an iPhone or iPad we can create maximum 3 new apple id accounts. so if you have already created your first apple id account in this iPhone, then he can create 2 more accounts maximum. kindly remember that, he can create one and leave one more account creation possible if planning to sell the device in future.
So its better to go with new apple account after you handover the iPhone bro. you can share apps that supports family sharing and other icloud services through apple family sharing. but not all your purchases again.
