My iPhone 15 pro is just two months old,
Everyday night battery draining minimum 8%·
I checked the battery drain issue by switch off the mobile.
Even the mobile is switched off then also it’s draining 8 to 10%.
Is this battery issue or software update issue?
My 3years old android mobile draining only 1% in the night by switching off.
I attached before and after screen shot please check.
Hi bro, battery drain overnight upto 8% is normal bro. for background processing, apps notifications, network strength based usage will be there. some days it will be reduced to around 5%.
We can use this battery graph reading method to understand whether any problem is present or not.
Day time usage and overnight battery drain graph reading can be understood based on this bro. Do share tomorrow same time how the overnight battery reduce graph looks like.

My big concern is, while mobile is switched off, how it’s drained 8% in 8hrs?
You can see my battery graph screen shot, there is no usage in 8hrs because mobile was switched off.
I checked same with my 3years old mobile, it’s drained only 1%.
Whey 8% drain for my mobile while in switched off?
I understand bro, battery drain overnight entirely depends on the apps we installed and how much background resource they are using when the phone is in Idle state. For example, if you received any whatsapp notification or other apps notifications during the night, it does consume some percentage.
Additionally, if any network signal strength reduce happens overnight, again battery drain happens. But it wont be fixed. It will change next day and we see fluctuations according to above reasons.
Its not one particular factor causing such overnight battery drain bro.
But if you are seeing more percentage drain regularly, then we can try iOS Restore once after taking backup of the iPhone via iTunes. That will clear out and fix any bugs associated to it causing such overnight battery drain.
