Hi Robin bro , Can we add credit card for NFC payments in iPhone , I tried adding in wallet app as well as google pay there is no option to add credit cards.
Also when i searched this I got a work around in internet to change the region and add the card to the wallet app. Will there be any issues or drawbacks if we change the region and use . Like in stolen device protection or any apps that use locations
Hello bro, right now its not possible to add as Apple Wallet app is not available in India. Only Rupay card can be added to GPay, PayTM or PhonePe app. NFC is not opened for third party payment provides right now in India.
changing region to usa or other countries that has Apple pay allow us to add International Credit Card to our apple wallet app. But whenever you do transactions, then it will attract Forex Transaction fees as international transaction on your card. its possible.
So my suggestion is not to pay extra for trying apple pay. Its good to wait bro. Based on leaks so far we are expecting september 2024 we may see apple pay launched in india.
