Hi robin bro, I’m using airpods 3rd gen, my left side piece having some sound problem(not clearance), 1.)any third party service available for clear my issue? apple service said to replacement cost of 12.5k(coverage expired), so, i decided to reject it. 2)can i buy airpods pro 2nd gen(1yr later) or wait for new upcoming model?
Hi bro, once check with apple service center, if it can be serviced or replaced by any chance. if the expense is too much, then you may check with Dinesh Bro service center iDot Repairs at Chennai. He is active in our fb group and you can google search for idot repairs. Have seen some airpods battery repair video he have done before.
Whenever we approach third party service centers, its totally at our own risk bro. so understanding that, you may proceed with the service.
and airpods pro 2nd gen under offers will be good purchase today. Lightning port or USB C port, you can choose according to the offers available when you buy after a year.
