Hi bro , Greetings of the Day !
Really Apple care+ worth ah ?.. in my phone usage history of 5yrs with android i didn’t cause display damage or any other damages. Because I’m a safe user with more cautious in handling the phones.
But now in iphone it creates a stress for me whether to buy apple care+ or not…
If need to buy means, i have certain doubts
-
If i bought a iPhone 15 models this year means can i able to transfer over that apple care+ from 14plus to 15plus
-
Within 2yrs my battery health drops to below 80% with above 500charge cycles means… can they replace battery at free of cost?
-
In apple care+ its also mentioned that USBC to lighting cable is also covered… what it means ? If They will give a new wire if already box content wire is teared or damaged ?
-
Ithu oru trick ah panalama… At the end of the apple care+ period(lets be 1month before) shall i damage the phone completely to get a new iphone 14plus as replacement?
At last , if a safe user don’t need to buy care+ ?
Hello bro, Greetings. Applecare+ is optional. Unlike Android devices, iPhones generally are expensive. Insurance or Extended Warranty coverages help us to protect such high expenses or investments.
I always say that “Accidents are not planned events.” So If we can afford, getting insurance or warranty coverage is good idea and we can be without any worries. Also to people who drop their phone frequently, applecare+ is must when they come to iPhone, iPad or Mac computers.

Applecare+ warranty is not transferrable. It is device specific. Not Apple ID specific coverage.

Yes, within 2 years coverage you can get your battery replaced at free of cost as per my check last time. It is possible. But usually it takes 2.5 years or little higher to reach that 80% BH limit. If there is any defect, then we will see the BH reaching 80% within a year.

I didnt read about that, but if its mentioned, then yes. the cable they provide with the box is also covered for applecare+ claim. But during claim we pay certain service fee for iPhones. I couldnt find any information regarding the cable replacement though.

Absolutely. You can damage it intentionally and say to service technician that the phone got damaged, pay the small fee and get new iPhone 14 Plus or Pro model whichever you choose. I normally suggest the same technique to Airpods and Airpods Pro purchases that our audience do. As airpods lifetime is 2.5 years average, damaging the one we have by the end of 2nd year and getting new one will let us use it for another 2.5+ years without worries about battery issues.
If you are confident that you will never damage your iPhone, then you may not get Applecare+. Its not mandatory. Consider it only if it fits within your budget while buying an iPhone with some discounts and offers. I hope it helps.

Bro last doubt , as u mentioned in 4th point… how can i able to choose pro model as replacement for iphone 14plus?
if at that time , the iphone14plus new unit is not available for replacement means i will able to choose pro models for replacement ah bro?
I didnt mean for replacemnt bro. The first time you buy, whether it is plus or pro model is final. So when we claim applecare+ we will get the same exact model. there ownt be any change.
