Hi Robin, I recently saw your video on using a screen protector and installed the Saco one on my MacBook Air M1.
Only after installing I went through Reddit and other forums where they say MacBooks are built with narrow tolerances and that installation a screen protector is not recommended and it might cause damage to the screen.
What’s your opinion and is it safe?
Hello bro, I have used a screen protector on MacBook pro before, and my friends also use them. So far no problem with the display.
And it is important to use a very thin screen protectors for macbook screen to make sure no such problem happened.
You can see two or three year old macbook displays with oleophobic coating wear out problem in used macbook sale market, shops and in online too.
To avoid such problems and to make sure our display maintains that clear look, thin screen protectors can be used.
Also, it is important not to wear keyboard silicon protectors when using screen protectors on your MacBook display.
