I recently updated IOS 18.4 on my iPhone 15 pro max, I see drastic battery drain after the update. I usually charge twice a day coz my usage is high , but after this update I charge thrice. I am unable to identify the cause.

hi bro, initially any new update brings changes that results in background optimization according to our usage. give 2 to 3 more days time and charge it around 20% and see if any improvements there.
do share last 24 hours battery stats screenshot here in reply to have a look at it.
the usage seems high as you mentioned bro. but the charge level reaches 80% and its happening due to current summer season where we see increased room temperature and outdoor temperature as well. so from 80% to 20% in 5G the apps like insta, youtube and fb normally consumes more power.
you will notice improvement in upcoming days and you can charge when it reaches 20% level.
Expecting 18.4.1 with few important bug fixes in couple of weeks bro. possible to see some more improvements.
