Battery draining issue in iPhone 16 Pro

I purchased an iPhone 16 Pro last week, but I find myself needing to charge it twice a day with normal usage. Is this typical, or could there be a battery issue?

I have attached the Screenshot of battery usage.

Hi bro, the time between 12AM till morning 7AM during idle time, the battery drain seems to be there.

have you updated to iOS 18.1?

Thanks for your response and I want to clarify my issue clearly to you for understand my doubts, sir.

I recently purchased an iPhone 16 Pro on November 26 and updated it to iOS 18.1 on November 28. As a new iOS user, I am seeking clarification on the expected battery performance for this device. Currently, I am experiencing a battery life of approximately 6-7 hours with normal usage, primarily consisting of taking calls and sometimes using social media.

I’m following battery life savings tips as per your youtube video. Is this typical for the iPhone 16 Pro, or should I be concerned about the rapid battery depletion? Any advice or insights on how to optimize battery performance.

Today i didn’t use my mobile but still battery is reducing, check screenshot for proof.

would be greatly appreciated.

Yes,bro.
4-5% battery is draining in 12AM to 7AM

I understand bro, that 4 to 5% drain overnight is totally normal. I thought it was more than that. for new iPhone, it takes 2 to 3 weeks time to settle with background optimisation according to your usage.

Upcoming updates also helps to fix and improve battery performance overall.

One important factor as I always mention in our video is, network signal strength plays important role in battery power. when we insert the SIM card, for any iPhone it gives one day or little extra battery backup whether we are using it not bro.

for plus and max models we get 1.5 to 2 days backup for less usage. heavy usage means 1 day backup.

Whenever battery reaches 20% around you can charge it to 80 or above and continue using the device. thats totally good. use it for 5 to 6 months atleast so you will get better idea overall with the battery management bro.

Thank you for your explanation. As I am currently in a remote area, the network signal is consistently weak, showing only 1 or 2 bars, which may be a significant factor contributing to the battery drain issue. However, despite minimal usage today, the battery dropped from 85% to 25% within 6-7 hours.

I will monitor the situation for a few more weeks to see if the battery optimization improves.

thats good backup bro. it will change again when you move back to your place. not to worry. have a good day.
