Even after I disconnect the Bluetooth connection, the battery widget shows as if it is connected. I am using latest update 18.5 also. But facing the issue.. can you please explain me ?
hi bro, did you turn off bluetooth from control center or from within settings - bluetooth page? because turning off bluetooth from control center prevents new devices from connecting. but still bluetooth runs in low power mode to detect apple devices. like airpods and apple watch. so you see their battery status when its nearby. airpods pro and pro 2 models normally show such status and its normal.
wont consume more power.
I turned off bluetooth from control center and also within settings - bluetooth page.
But still battery status of airpod is showing bro.
It takes 2 to 3 minutes to refresh the battery widget and remove airpods from the list when iPhone settings - bluetooth toggle is OFF bro. I just tested. even after turning off bluetooth settings I was still seeing airpods in my battery widget list. but within few seconds it disappears. tried bringing airpods near to my iPhone and opened airpods lid, its not automatically connecting as bluetooth settings is completely OFF.
It wont drain battery and its not a problem. dont worry. airpods pro and pro 2 models uses low power bluetooth feature to just update its battery status on iPhone widget. just to have a quick preview.
