I am in need of an iPad/tablet for studying purposes!
Is iPad Pro 10.5 (2017) (64GB WiFi+Cellular) a good option in 2025? My budget is limited, i.e., 15k.
I came across an offer price of 13k for the same!
What are things I should consider? What will be the battery cost if it needs replacement?

Hi bro, if possible and you can increase the budget slightly look for something within 3 to 4 years model. iPad base models like iPad 9th gen or 10th gen atleast. around 20K range will be good idea.
As I explained in our iPad battery lifetime episode, you need to buy an iPad with good battery in it to use it for next few years.
at apple service center they dont replace battery as of now. we need to replace it only at third party service center.

Let’s say, i bought the iPad Pro for 11k!, will it be funtional and handy for the upcoming years or shall i wait for some time and increase my budget to buy the iPad 10th gen or iPad A16 2025?
I thought iPad pro 2017 at 11k is enough to push for next 3-4 years !

It all depends on how well it was used and maintained bro. we cannot generally say that all older iPads will work for few hours as it entirely depends on how it was used and whats the current battery status right now.
So after a month or two or may be next year you will start seeing the problem if iPad is already used heavily.
Price wise it may look attractive, but it wont server the purpose well if there is any issue related to battery or hardware.
Try using that iPad for few minutes, like 15 to 20 minutes and see how battery performance is. then you may go for it.
I understand budget is an important concern here. so test the iPad and then go for as latest as possible bro. 5 to maximum 6 years an iPad normally receives software updates. so getting 2018 iPad in 2025 already reached its updates cycle.
