Hello Bro, Yes you may use it with charger connected and mac automatically cut off when it reaches 100% charge or due to optimised charging feature it automatically slows down charging according to your usage when it reaches 80% level.
After 2 days of inactivity, I think it is possible the system may automatically timeout and asks you to enter the password or authenticate once again. Must be security settings in place bro. not to worry about that.
