I’m using iphone 14 plus with jio sim and recently i got the jio true 5g welcome offer SMS and it stated the steps to enable 5G, like first to update to the latest iOS software and set 5G auto from the setting. I followed the steps, updated to ios 16.6 but in the settings under mobile data option > Voice & data it shows “ Your current sim does not support 5G. Contact your network provider for more details.” What is the problem here bro , in the jio app it says my sim supports 5G but my iphone says it’s not.
Hi bro, If the SIM card is older then consider changing it to new SIM for same number by visiting Jio Digital Store. But if you got this sim recently within 1 year or so, then perform “Settings - general - reset - reset network settings” once and then check 5G is enabled or not.
It’s been more than 4 to 5 years since i bought the SIM card bro. So is there a chance maybe the fault is from the SIM card?? I’ll check it bro, Thank you bro.
