Hi @iRobinPro ,
I’ve been using Samsung 22inch LED Full HD VA 60Hz monitor (for a year and above)
as display monitor for Mac mini M1 , planning to upgrade to 4K monitor. I went through this LG 4K monitor costs around 28.5k
I came to know that Samsung and LG are doing best quality in monitors section
Could you pls suggest a good one in budget friendly as well as in the value for money aspect bro ?
I saw your LG usb-c type 4K monitor video bro, but cost around 40k. My preferences are
Samsung or LG Brand (pls suggest if you know any other good brand for display), 4K display quality, 22 inch display size, comparatively less bezels, greater longevity
I couldnt find any monitor on amazon with less budget range bro. mostly 1080p monitors only available. you may check with the same Samsung and LG Brands. 4K monitors are quite expensive these days. without USB C port you may check the same model in LG.

Hi @iRobinPro bro,
If I buy LG 4K monitor in the link mentioned above, do I need to customize the display settings (as you’ve did for LG USB-C type monitor or not required) for better viewing experience or by default, it suits well ?
Hi bro, yes. for any third party monitors we need to custom adjust the colors for better viewing experience that matches our room lighting conditions. most important thing is, comfortable color level for our eyes and long term viewing.
So far I am using 2 same LG USB C monitors with my mac studio and they are doing good.
Hi @iRobinPro bro,
Instead of buying new 4K monitor, I thought to use my existing 4K compatible tv as monitor for Mac mini.
I’m planning to buy HDMI 2.0 cable (4k compatible) (6-7 meters length) for Mac mini. I came across Blue Rigger brand from irobinpro shop section.
(BlueRigger Ultra Series (Braided/Nylon) HDMI Cable Supports 4K@60HZ, FullHD, Ultra HD, 3D High Speed with Ethernet, ARC, PS4, Xbox, HDTV (20 feet / 6 Meters) Amazon.in
Shall I go for this option or any other budget friendly alternatives are available ?
Kindly suggest.
cable wise blue rigger is the brand I am using it several years bro. with my apple tv and ps5. so far its perfect. check cable spec and you may go for it.

Ok bro. Above cable spec would be perfect for Mac mini M1 to 4K HDR TV, right ?
Please confirm…
@iRobinPro bro, Finally I bought bluerigger HDMI cable and HDMI video capture device to use my laptop as monitor for Mac mini as a secondary portable option. Using OBS software it supports only for windows 10,11 not 7. Is there any alternative to use in 7. Kindly suggest.
good to know bro. you may check with streamlabs application. its similar to OBS software available for both windows and mac. But with older Windows operating system, it is not possible for latest web protocols or network and encryptions standard to work. as Windows 7 officially discontinued and not receiving any updates from microsoft side.
so upgrading OS will be the only solution.
