Hi bro I recently subscribed Netflix 4k Subscription and I also have amazon prime subscription I like to experience Dolby Vision (HDR) and Dolby Audio in my M1 MacBook Air and AirPods Pro 2 but in Default safari browser stuck in Stereo audio but only in Apple Music I’m Experience Dolby Audio.
And in safari in Youtube only I’m getting HDR content experience in my Mac both prime and Netflix I didn’t get it. I also tried Such other browser (chrome) is also stuck with stereo and it is also not support HDR content from streaming Websites.
hello bro, with airpods pro and mac, it will be spatial audio. other than stereo, when the movie titles you are playing supports spatial audio means, you will be able to hear that. Is the video playing in high resolution 4K? when you stream using netflix and prime?
Bro you can see that it shows stereo in both Netflix and amazon prime also I got Dolby atoms in Apple Music but not even in YouTube I get Dolby atoms and HDR streaming
Yes bro. Spatialise Stereo will be better than regular stereo. Also I couldnt find any detail about Netflix or Prime supporting dolby atmos when we use airpods or airpods pro. I think its similar to hi res lossless which is not supported by wireless headphones. only wired headphones with DAC can support it.
So possible explanation here is, airpods pro models can support only spatial audio and not dolby atmos if the streaming service is not yet implemented it.
Apple Music and Apple TV+ are ready for Spatial audio. Third party services takes time to bring such feature additions bro. so we may expect it in future.
