Hi bro, I need which option to use to downloading files after I closing the laptop lid, in windows it’s so easy to do, but in mac I tried several method But did not work for me
hello bro, file downloads dont happen when lid is closed. only system updates will happen in the background when lid is closed bro. its not possible to do the download when no external monitor is connector. As a power saving feature, such suspension of all services happens. we cannot bypass it as per my understanding bro.
OK bro, I think it’s a not a power saving feature, even I plugged to charger apple should allow to download when closing the lid. Because every time for a long downloads I need to open the display, its so annoying , crazy apple
It will be a nice feature to consider when power cord is connected. but suspending background operations saves battery. that must be the reason apple didnt allow it. we can put the display off but still hard disk and other processes can run normally when the display is open bro.

- log file downloading in windows it happens via idm download manager
- closing the lid for downloading the files, in windows it’s happen in a simple settings
regarding 1st one, have you tried using Folx Download Manager bro?
