Hi Robin Bruhh , Currently I am using IPhone 14 pro max.
I am facing an issue in Face ID, while we open WhatsApp/ Google pay/Paytm/ PhonePe and so on with the security of Face ID.
I am experiencing a slight delay after the recognition of Face ID pop up and while entering the application there is a delay of 3-4 seconds blank screen and enter’s application.
I have checked it with planet care and reset the software and facing same issues.
Tried checking with another iphone14 pro max also getting same issue.
So I need to know whether it occurs in all 14 pro series.
Remaining things like unlocking phone all are fine.
I need a clear view why it’s happening and what is it about….

Hello bro, I just checked with my whatsapp by enabling face id to lock whatsapp, it works normally. there is a 1 second delay but it doesnt look like any bug or issue. with paytm I do have issues and I am sure its paytm app related issue. sometime blank page and sometime app itself just hangs after unlocking. We will see the fix from upcoming updates bro.
Make sure you have updated to 16.3 and if there is any minor bug causing this problem, give some more time. with next app updates we will see improvements bro.
My iphone 14 pro max is freezing for 15 to 20 secs while using face ID to unlock whatsapp(sometimes)… I thought it will be fixed after an update but even after several updates the problem exist. I’m experiencing since 5 months…
Hello bro, that is not normal. once perform “settings - general - reset - reset all settings”. make sure iOS and whatsapp updated to latest version. whatsapp does have few bugs but so far its working normally for me with face id enabled. very minor hiccups, but not much noticeable.
Also reset and setup face id fresh once again. then check and let me know how it works.
