I bought an iPhone 17 yesterday, and while taking photos at night, I’m seeing a green reflection when focusing on street lights. Is this normal, or could there be an issue with my phone?
hi bro, this is lens flare issue normally happens due to metal ring components inside the camera. its normal and seen generally in iPhone and other cameras when we shoot the light source directly. we have to adjust the angle slightly to reduce or avoid lens flares.
do you use lens protector by any chance? because sometimes lens protectors surface increases the lens flares when we shoot.
Thanks for the clarification, bro. I had installed a lens protector and captured the attached images. I removed it yesterday, and the flare has reduced compared to earlier.

Some lens protectors dont have this much flare bro. always try cheaper option if needed. else you can continue using it without lens protector. use proper case with increase cover area around camera lens bro. that will be sufficient.
