Green screen problem. After warranty replacement idea

Hi robin. I need your help. I am using iPhone 13 Pro for almost 1 year 5 months, I am facing green screen issue suddenly after ios 16 update.

I went to Apple service centre and they told that it is an manufacturing defect and not happened by customer. I am maintain in such a way that it is brand new with zero scratch.

The problem is I spoke to Apple customer support, In your yesterday’s Apple green screen video you mentioned at time: 2:50 in video, The comments of Naga Raju a person got free screen replacement for this issue, I took this into considerations and shared with customer support.

They are asking to approach the particular person who resolved it for free and ask him the procedures and details how he did and follow that so it can be surely resolved.

hi bro, as a customer you dont have to contact others in order to get your problem solved. you can directly talk to the support and their senior support staff if needed to get this problem fixed at free of cost. as i said in the video, when service center diagnosis report confirms you havent caused any damage and its manufacturing defect, then its apple’s reponsibility to change the display at free of cost.

kindly talk to them again tomorrow and no need to mention about other persons getting it replaced. just place your concern about iPhone 13 pro display being green after iOS 16 update.

hi bro im using iphone 13 pro for 1 year and 3 weeks. Just after 10 days out of warranty i started getting green screen issue just like all the users are claiming similar thing happened to me. Since then i contacted apple support and even submitted my phone to an AASP service provider ,got the jobsheet and then immediately sent it to apple support. They escalated this to their senior team and in the call i clearly mentioned that there was no damage done to the phone from my side and its clearly apples fault and because of the faulty screen module I’m getting this issue. But the senior support staff only kept saying since the phone is out of warranty i need to pay for a screen replacement and advised me to write a feedback in apple website but still said nothing new could be done since it was out of warranty.

what to do now ? I have seen few people in your comments claiming apple fixed it for free but apple support are not giving me any apt solution other than paying. Pls Help bro.

hi bro im facing the exact same problem as you and even contacted apple supported but they are asking me to pay even after claiming that there is no damage done from my side and it is not my fault. Did u get your phone fixed or any other idea pls?

hello bro, thats disappointing. now the second option I suggested is to take legal action bro. you can try talking to apple support once more and if the same response given then contact any lawyer. submit the job sheet service center have given to you. that you havent caused any damage and apple software update caused such green screen problem after warranty shortly expired.

so far others dont have to take this to consumer court, but as a last option you have to do this bro. repairing with your own money or taking it to third party service center is not correct option here. as the phone is almost new and just 1 year some days old. it may take 1 year to finish the proceedings legally, but high change the verdict will be in your favor bro.
