hi bro, its tough to clean the fabric type cable. I bought amazon basics and belkin spare cable to use with charging purposes in my desk and car. you can try cleaning the cable using hand sanitizer sprayed to a small lens cleaning cloth and gently wipe it in small portion. see if that helps to clean it or not.
if the cable is not moved frequently then chances of dirty is less. for such moving option go for belkin or amazon basics cables bro.
