I am using windows 10 21H2 version bro. My laptop doesn’t have Ethernet port, so i am using usb-c to Ethernet adapter, that’s working fine.

But, if i do tethering , no luck.

with laptops most people using wifi hotspot bro. thats why this problem must have not noticed by many. one of our mod recently said that they are unable to use iTunes whenw connected with USB C cable. let me check with his machine.

Because I tried with Android phone (usb c to usb c). It’s working fine.
But, on iphone ( lightning to USB c), unable to share the internet. ( Using apple original cable)

The challenge i have in wifi hotspot is that if i keep my laptop idle for 3 minutes the hotspot disconnect automatically. So looking for usb c tethering bro.

hi bro, for wifi hotspot not working on iPhone, you can try this work around.

this will fix and provide stable hotspot connection with your windows laptop. my friend also not able to get this work with his windows pc, but works fine with his mac computer. so strange, some additional driver support seems to be required to enable tethering feature with the USB C to Lightning cable.

let me know if above suggested wifi hotspot works.

Actually I have tried it and it was working

1.connect the usb c to the lap and lighting to the iPhone
2.On iPhone settings->Personal Hotspot->Turn On

Now on checking the connection on the laptop it shows the ethernet was connected
