Hi bro, i have purchased a new macbook, i also have an iphone 13, I have few queries, Photos in my iphone are getting synced to my macbook. is there any way to prevent that? I mean i dont want to see the photos of my phone in my macbook. also airpods getting automatically paired to my macbook and, even calls to my iphone is getting in macbook. how to stop all this?

  1. Like iphone, using face lock for apps, is there option to enable fingerprint lock or facelock to specific folders or apps

hello bro, within macOS Settings you have icloud settings bro. you can turn that off to prevent the sync happening from iCloud to your mac storage. in iPhone - settings - apps - facetime - calls on other devices can be turned off to prevent calls forwarded to mac when its nearby bro.

Same way Messages if you dont want to sync with mac from iPhone you can turn it off from iPhone settings - apps - messages - text message forwarding, turn off mac from the list bro.

thank you @iRobinPro bro

welcome bro. if app developer allowed to lock using touch id then it will work. otherwise we cannot manually do that bro.

folders can be password locked by third party apps only. but it will be removed from current location and moved to the third party app for encryption and password protection.

I am seeing some apps in appstore but mostly negative reviews and unable to suggest one that could work better. I will explore and share some more details soon bro.

thank you very much @iRobinPro bro

One more issue @iRobinPro bro, im currently using edge browser, i have logged in to some gmail id’s and some other websites and saved. its often, getting logged out, in my windows laptop, indha issue ilai bro, logout agave agathu. but macbook la adikadi logout agirurthu

possibly cache files and browser settings issue bro. check whether the browser settings has auto reset or clear of history and cookies files. that can logout of our current accounts too. normally bank websites have this type of timeout sequence, but gmail and google accounts dont have such quick timeout when not in use.

within browser settings la reset options paarunga. that will help.

thank you very much bro. is it possible to extend the apple care plus after the current plan expires?? (after three years?)

Right now apple offers extension possibility month or yearly basis even after 3rd year completion bro. so for now, its possible. in future we are not sure how long apple will continue this. but possible right now after 3rd year we can continue with monthly or yearly subscription.

Thank you bro

Today while in using my macbook, i was copying some files from a external drive to another drive, my macbook restarted itself three times within 10minutes @iRobinPro bro. what could be the issue? anything to check?

macbook model and year bro? is there any software update or any third party app you have installed recently?

Its an macbook pro m5 max bro, bought this month, no apps installed bro, earlier i was using windows, i have 6 to 7 external HDD’s, all my hard disk are of NTFS format bro, so could not use in macbook, it allows only to read and could not write, so copying all the files from a hard disk to another and formatting it to ExFat format, that restart issue happened while copying the file from one hard disk to another

This could be due to panic at macOS level my suggestion is not use the same hdd continuously as it is causing sudden restart. There are several possibilities and cable or power shortage related issue is highly possible so try with a different hdd and avoid using the same hard disk with this Mac computer bro.

this is not something we can fix it a hard disk level, but we can avoid for the issues happening to the MacBook ports.
