How to use or activate Separate mobile number in Apple Watch?

Hello brother,

Right now, we are using Apple watch (GPS + Cellular) by activating eSim in Apple watch and that carrier will be used in Apple watch. So whenever we used to get call or messages, we will get in both devices.

  1. So, I would like to know how to activate eSim directly in Apple watch which have seperate IMEI and EID numbers which is required for eSim conversion.

  2. If the answer for above question is NO means, please let me know how to activate different number in Apple watch (Family setup mode).

Hello bro, apple watch esim works by connecting to an iPhone. It is not allowed or designed in a way to work as a standalone device.

For activation, registration it needs iphone. We can use apple watch cellular without iphone nearby, that doesnt mean it dont need iphone at all.

Pairing and registration still present in iphone apple watch app. If thats get deleted then apple watch cellular data will be deactivated.

So we cannot activate separate or different mobile number on apple watch.

Bro, but Apple site shows different number can be activated using family sharing mode in Apple watch.

Its not like a dedicated number bro. We cannot get a number from airtel, jio or vodafone just for apple watch. no such provision available till date as per my understanding. I will get some more clarification with users who are using such family setup and will update the details here shortly.
