Hello bro . I’m a new iphone user. So whenever i upload the videos i took using the iphone camera app to instagram story , the quality reduces and becomes super low and low clarity. But i never faced this problem while using android phone. Is it normal bro ? And is there any solution?
hi bro, instagram does apply compression to certain level, but it wont affect the quality of the video much. As you can see many iPhone users posted Reels videos does look great. What camera video settings and formats you are using to record video?
Thank you for the reply bro . So the settings is as Record video 1080p HD at 60fps with HDR video option enabled. Also suggest me a good setting to record videos for the purpose of posting in on instagram bro , I’m using iphone 14 plus.
that camera setting is perfect bro, inside instagram upload settings, high quality uploads also allowed? is the toggle ON under data settings within instagram app?

That is strange bro. I am uploading 1080p videos to my insta reels page, edited using final cut pro in mac system, then transferred to my phone. so far no such quality issues found. can you try reinstalling instagram app once and check again by uploading a good quality video clip?

absolutely not hardware related. this must be software related only bro. internet cannot be an issue. as the upload will get slow but low quality wont be uploaded. if internet is bad, you may be seeing poor quality playback for few minutes after the upload.
But other devices will show high resolution content. Do check such sample content with friends device too once.
And due to true tone, to avoid blue light after evening times that affects our sleep pattern, that feature adds light yellow tone bro. you may turn it off but its optional.
