I dont know why my iphone 16pro is lagging way too much is there any issues? On ios 26 im worried about it i need a help and also battery draining issue is still not fixed im on 100% battery health worst experience on ios26

hi bro, after update few hours we may experience such issue, but once background processing, indexing is done, it will be smooth. lets wait for few hours and check how it works bro. you can restart once and see how it works bro.

Hi bro,it still has the frame drop issue in ui due to over heat and battery drains so much ios 26 is worst on 16pro

I recently updated my iPhone 15 from iOS 18 to iOS 26. Initially, I did not notice any major issues, but after using it for a day, I started experiencing multiple performance-related problems.

  1. Keyboard Issue: In WhatsApp, the keyboard automatically scrolls up and down, making it difficult to type.

  2. Gaming Performance: While playing Free Fire, the device feels like a low-RAM phone. The game lags heavily with noticeable FPS drops, making gameplay unpleasant.

  3. Battery Drain & Heating: My battery health is 83%, but on iOS 26, it drains much faster compared to the previous OS. The device also heats up more quickly.

  4. Camera App Problem: Opening the camera app causes a rapid battery drop (around 3% within 5 seconds), which makes it almost unusable.

I really appreciate the design and interface improvements in iOS 26, but performance is the most important factor, and right now it feels significantly worse than before.

Please look into these issues and provide guidance or solutions, as the overall experience has been very disappointing so far.

Yes same issues on my 16pro after updating ios26 if 16pro itself has these much issues i couldnt imagine what will happen if we update on older iphones i’ve been using iphone for past 8 years this never happend on any of the updates for me idk what to say

Apple also confirmed that battery drain issue may be experiencing for limited time bro. from what I have seen, after 5 to 6 hours from update, users may see such heating or battery drain due to background processing and indexing services. after that it will settle and users will see smooth performance.

a friend of mine using iPhone 11 just confirmed that he have no such issues and iOS 26 running totally smooth on his device.

So give atleast 3 to 4 days time. and if any such hang or lagging issues occurred, restart iPhoned once and see if that helps or not. mostly temporary bugs will be fixed with a restart.

last 2 to 3 betas were good and much stable than initial betas. so give it a try and confirm after 4 days bro.

I am using 16 pro max bro, same spec as 16 pro and so far no similar UI related issues noticed. its possible issue happening to specific devices.

Are you still experiencing same problem? auto touch or home screen icons not staying in place correctly and loading repeatedly?

Yes sir,still im facing this issues on 16pro it is same spec tho but i dont know how 16 pro lags so much my frnd also has 16pro it does the same thing on his phone when will they fix this? And also noticed the new issue while using camera control when we scroll to 5x lens the lens doesnt not activate when will they fix this and 16pro users dont update to ios 26👌 thank you

iOS 26.0.1 update expected in 2 weeks time bro. expecting more fine tuning and bug fixes. meanwhile can you perform all settings reset once and see if any improvements there?
