After my ios 16.3 update my ipad display got a grey color line , i contacted apple support they diagnosed my device. They said there is no issue in your device but you have to reset. So started to backup my files to my pc. From that time my display got too much wierd effect. Is there any solution ?
hi bro, sorry to know. if its iOS software update problem, then performing restart or all settings restart will fix it. last option is to do iPadOS Restore by connecting your iPad with iTunes and perform it.
Else, we need to check with apple service center as the issue could be hardware related. I hope it helps.

I cant do anything bro the display is getting completely black within 1-2 after turning on so i decided to bring the ipad to a apple server centre.
its good you visited apple service center. let them diagnose and come up with a solution.

The reason I got tensed is I can’t even transfer my files to any source because the screen is completely flickering and sometimes full black . Only I got few ways to transfer files is. 1. Connect ipad to pc through cable to itunes and then back up.(but my cable not working) 2. Transfer all my files to any social platform [Google drive] (how i did is, the display issue is a software issue so touches are working . So I screen mirrored my ipad to my tv so i got a complete view of my ipad in my TV . Eventhough the ipad screen is black, touches are working. So by seeing my tv i correctly touched my ipad and died hard to transfer my files to my drive atlast i finally finished my back up of files only the photos and videos). Bro now iam completely relaxed because all my files are backed up and I can relaxly give my ipad in apple store. If they reset my ipad also no problem. Thank brother for your assistance. The reason why typed this long is if anyone also faces the same issue let them also try what i did so they also get solved…
I understand bro. It must be frustrating when the gadgets we have fail for no reason or fail when we needed the most.
Appreciate the thinking of yours, connecting it to tv display and getting the backup done.

I went to service centre bro they restored my ipad still issue not solved , they told it is a hardware issue your ipad is completely dead you have to pay 83000 rs and get a new ipad. They said there is no way of doing anything.

did they detect any damage internally to the display by running diagnosis?
They didnt run any diagnosis bro but they just restored and said even after restoring your ipad problem is not solved so it is a hardware issue. You have to buy a new device, it is the only way they said bro…
reinstalling is one step of diagnosis bro. if its software issue it must have fixed. any incident like dropping or iPad or over pressure applied on the display area?
sadly, replacing the display is not possible with iPad, thats why they are suggesting to replace whole iPad. If you feel like checking with any third party options you may consider third party service centers bro. Original spares may not be available. mostly first quality or non genuine displays only available.
If you are around chennai you may check with iPick Service Center, if you are around coimbatore then you may check with iPlace service center.
if you prefer original, then replacing the iPad is the only way bro.

Crazy apple , their repair cost is to high , or they just force us to use apple care , other wise it’s a nightmare for us :-/

Bro i forg to tell you that i received my ipad after it repired in third party service centre but it more than a year , i received it at the end of February 2024, it left me at the strting of February 2023. Now its condition is perfectly fine.

From where i bought itself. Its located in choolaimedu, nelson manikam road bro 20,000 rs it took to repair. Now its display is 100% perfect.
But now iam thinking samsung tab s9 ultra 1tb/16bgram variant is about 1.5 lakh only which has its s-pen included in box, its just my personal opinion bro. But m1 ipad is satisfying my needs now.
Ok bro. As it satisfies your requirement, you can continue using it. when you feel its time to upgrade, then goahead with the upgrade or change to Samsung Tab after experiencing them at showroom.
iPads give good lifetime overall also holds good resale value.
