I have updated my iOS 17.6.1 last week and after the update within 10 mins my back camera is not working and flashlight. I have visited the apple authorized service centre in Pondicherry the have diagnosed my phone and said it is showing some hardware issues you should pay and repair around 19k. Its warranty is covered its around a 1 year 9 months old mobile. I have contacted customer care and said they also said uyou should pay and repair now whats my question is I have asked without any physical damage and water damage how can I pay for it it occurred after the software update. Now what can I do what is the solution .
hi bro, sorry to know about the issue. so far no similar reports I have heard. my personal suggestion is, if the service center provided job sheet when you hand over the device for diagnostics, then it can be used as proof.
Just one more time you can talk to apple support. If they refused when there is no physical damage, then proceed with the lawyer. filing a case with consumer court is the only solution when they fail to provide service.
it may take some time, but possible to claim full fees and lawyer will guide you further bro. any friends of friends or family circle lawyer contact will be much trusted and safe option to proceed with.
