iPhone 14 battery health and warranty replacement

iPhone 14 purchased only 2 months ago
The ios update 17.2 it decreases 98% to 97%
Next update ios 17.2.1 it decreases 97% to 96%
What’s the issue, for instance if the bh touches 80% before 1 year the Apple Store will replace it or not??

HI bro, yes apple will replace battery free of cost if the BH reaches 80% within 1 year warranty period or if you have applecare+ or Protect+ insurance enabled then its 2 years time.

For example my bh drops 80% in 14 months did apple will change the battery free of cost??

You can enjoy using it bro. without worrying about battery health reduce. when there is a high screen ON time usage, then battery health gradually reduce. still people are getting close to two years mark. for normal usage then it comes around 2.5 years mark to reach 80%.

So in your case see whether at 12th month its 80% or not.

within 1 year if battery health reduces to 80% then mostly its under defect which apple allows free replacement.

if there is high usage and cycle count completed then we wont get free replacement of battery bro.

If i used in high usage and the bh drops to 80% within a year they’ll replace it or not for free?

And then what is the high usage cycle count number???

Apple sets 500 cycle count to reach that 80% battery health bro. but users are able to reach upto 800 cycles to reach that 80% around.

If you used and there is no defect then it wont be possible to replace for free bro. because its not defect as you have used it. But till date, users havent reached 80% within a year even for high screen usage and always charger connected to it like gamers. Maximum 86% around within 1 year possible.

So dont worry right now as its new iPhone, continue using it the way you want. If you need you may get protect+ by the end of the year before current manufacturer warranty ends.

Either free or maximum we have to pay 2500 for battery replacement if your battery health reached 80% next year before Protect+ Warranty ends.

Can you suggest hassle free Apple service centre???Thanks in advance :sparkles:

all apple authorised service centers are good to go bro. use apple support app to locate nearest authorised service center. that will be easy to find.
