Hi bro… I purchased iPhone 14plus before 25days… but at that time i didn’t noticed the below issue
At backside top of the phone there is a gap between aluminium frame and back glass… last week only i noticed this… and went to service centre where they also noticed this issue but said its a cosmetic issue not covered under limited warranty.
After many arguments finally they said submit the device and we will send it to the apple repair centre and it will took 7days but not guaranteed to repair this issue… because its minor cosmetic issue for them
I attached the pic and vid… can you please check it bro
Hi Bro, Usually, if we notice the problem right after unboxing the iPhone, they will provide an instant replacement, bro. But once we are out of the shop or didn’t report any issue while unboxing and recording the video if it’s ordered online, even at the apple India website, then it is considered to be user-caused damages or cosmetic wear-out problem.
Now we have to wait for them to diagnose and come up with a solution. usually, for a problem like iPhone Display Gap issues, they did provide a replacement when the device is under warranty.
For a new phone, such cases are very rare. We now have to wait for apple support’s response, and after they are sure that we didn’t drop the iPhone or any internal damages occurred, there is a chance of getting it replaced. Do share the update once its done.
Bro did you also noticing the gap issue in the pic ? Is it visible for you ?.. and can u please post the same pic of your device bro because u are also having the same model so i can also see that for my confirmation
Yes bro. the right top side from half to almost to the end I can see a gap. In my iPhone 14 Plus, I see a small gap but it is even. not one side and other side tightly closed. So compared to your image, there is a small difference.
Unga model layu small gap iruka… Apa ithu common dhana bro ?
Apple service centre la pesiten bro… avanga solranga this is minor cosmetic issue and it won’t affect the device… but if u r not satisfied with this means u have to submit the device we will send it to apple repair team and they will check on it… ipdi solranga but apple repair team um check panitu its a minor issue nu return paniruvanga apdiyae so kandippa ungaluku repair or replacement panuvangalanu teryathunu solranga bro
Now nan ena pandrathu bro… 7working days agumnu solranga… don’t know what to do…
Unga suggestions enanu please solunga bro
Na device ah submit panata or else ipdiyae vachukita pinadi entha problem um device ku agatha and after that seconds la na sale pannum pothu vanguravanga itha notice pani price kamiya keka chance iruka?
Here I am attaching the pics for your reference bro,
I noticed it only after seeing your photos. But it doesnt bother me. I always keep the case ON, and the front or rear frame push out only when battery bulge happens. So its not possible to get such problem this soon on a new device.
Let them diagnose and see bro. If they found any design flaw they could replace it for sure. Otherwise they may not. But don’t worry. Lets be positive.

Thanks for sharing images bro…
Can u please post a video on this like how to check the new ipbone when we bought in shop…
If a new user buys a iPhone it will be helpful for them…
Actually I’m also new to iPhone so didn’t know the details on this while buying…
hi bro , going to submit the device because the gap is also found at front side at the top the hearspeaker too…
one doubt, im using jio esim and airtel physical sim, if i reset the phone and submit the device means ,then repair/replacement device vanthathukapram thirumba epdi antha jio esim ah activate pandrathu bro ?
sure bro. was planning for one to do general inspection. jio esim should be manually removed from settings - mobile data - SIM section.
But before that, visit digital store and get a physical SIM convert eSIM to Physical SIM.
Then you can again convert it to eSIM when the phone arrives and all is well bro.
