Hi @irobinpro brother hope ur fine and doing well.
I purchased my 14pro max last nov 2022, i do folllow your pattern of charging from 20-80%.
I m currntly on 16.6.1ios
Sometimes due to usage my battery drains till 5% and then i again charge back to 80-85%.
My iphone battery was 97%till this month end,suddenly battery health reduced to 95% in 5 days.
Actually if i use battery shortcuts to calculate my battery cycle count it is showing 90% health.
Is my batery health is normal ir not.Kindly give ur suggestions

Hello bro, thank you and hoping you too. Sometimes battery drain completely or below 10% is totally Ok. We cannot get access to charger all the time. the best we can do is to follow this practice as much as possible. As I mentioned in our sudden battery health reduce video, 1% a month is normal and even if the battery health not reduced every month, we may see it getting reduced few percentages in future months.

so 12 months 5% is totally normal and looks like for your usage it will be good to reach that 2.5 years to reach 80% battery health percentage.

So its totally normal. not to worry.

Same here also bro…i had purchased my 14pm on march month only but my battery health dropped to 86% (within 9 months 14% dropped) am i allowed to claim warranty over this case.

Hi bro, if the battery health reaches 80% within warranty period, then it is possible to get it replaced under manufacturer warranty considering it as defect. otherwise it depends on our usage. were you following any charging practice? how is your usage overall?

Yes bro 20-80% only i was used to charge…it all started to drop drastically after ios update only it literally dropped 4% in a month though my screen on time was like 5/6 hrs a day only.

I regularly update every time iOS update comes out bro. mainly to test and share the video with our audience. I have never seen iOS being the reason from my personal observation. Based on our usage, charging practice and if its time to see the reduce, we will see BH getting updated when we do iOS Software Update is what I think.

Continue following the same charging practice and overall we will get 2.5 years mark to reach that 80%. then we can change battery at apple service center and continue using it with peak performance.
