I bought my new iPhone 16 pro 13 days back, I’m facing battery drain issue much recently, when I bought the phone the battery performance was not bad, but recently it’s dropping so fast, like if I watch 1 hour video on YouTube 10-15% drops, if I hear music on Apple Music for 2-3 songs 1-2% of battery reduces
hi bro, for video streaming the battery drain will vary according to the network conditions. dont worry about it. you will see improvement in upcoming updates.
calculate battery over one day usage bro. that will help to understand better. also iOS 18 updates will improve with more bug fixes too. right now charge your device whenever it reaches around 20% according to your usage.

I charge to 100% most of the time bro. sometimes if I have to go out I stop at around 70 or 80%. that 80% is automatically managed according charging optimisation feature. so havent maintained any certain level till date.
So you can charge based on your available timings. shouldnt be a problem. when needed charge above 90% or 100% bro.

In mine, still optimised charging is not activated, is there any criteria for it to be activated, because I noticed it goes above 80% and optimised charging doesn’t work, I bought my phone on October 5th
Did you set the charging limit to 80% bro? or its set to 100%?

ok bro, based on our usage it automatically takes care of the charging after 80%. when we use the battery power to reach 20% in one day then it normally allows charging above 80%. if our usage reduces, screen on time, then it will take effect.
So dont worry. keep the settings ON, and you will see the changes according to your usage.
