Recently I changed my region to US, when I did that the news app got automatically installed and it displayed in my Home Screen, then after sometime I changed my region India , the news app went away, but in search it still shows this blank icon, this happened during 18.1.1 I have updated to 18.2 but still the issue remains bro, I have already raised a concern regarding this issue is there any solution for this bro?
hello bro, good morning. this clearly seems to be a bug causing the issue. when you start using the device with more apps and search for them, this page gets updated. news app will go away with few hours of usage normally. siri suggestions needs to be updated so keep using the search function.
Reset all settings can be tried, but I think the issue is not major and not necessary to perform all settings reset. so over time it will be fixed automatically.
