Hi Robin, I’m having iPhone 13pro bought in 2022. It’s been 3 years now I have updated to ios 26.1 . After update my display went full yellow and green, after few hours automatically display back to normal. Vice versa it happens.I contacted apple support they scheduled appointment in authorised store they just see it and told me to replace display , reason they said might be dust enters so hardware damaged not proper reason. I still contacted apple support and they escalate to senior support team. They said my battery percentage is 76% which is degrading, this might be a issue so replace battery first after that issue persist we will look into that, that’s what she said. Is green screen happens for battery degrading? Some forum they got free replacement even out of warranty, how do I approach them Robin. I can’t simply ask them to consider for free replacement that they twisted with it as battery issue, I have to replace battery for further escalation now. What to do Robin?
hi, so far green screen reported in 13 pro models are not battery specific as per my understanding. but they may suggest that based on their support guidance and document. its good to get display replaced for free when they approve as it could cost more for us than the battery price.
Are they accepting after battery replacement you will get display replaced for free?

I have went to another authorised service centre they said without hesitation they will do replacement with free of cost, since it’s a known issue. But my front speaker mesh was slightly went in. Which is cosmetic damaged not directly connected with display issue but They rejected for free replacement and considered it as physical damage. So I contacted senior support they asked for photos from service centre. They currently inspecting the case whether to give exception note or not. Its been a week still they need a time.
I also asked them about battery degrading. They said it’s not an issue.
Welcome. Thats disappointing to know there is a speaker mesh damage. lets see if they are able to make any exception and get it replaced.
