iPhone Green Screen Problem, Apple Service Center asking Rs 31,000 for Display Replacement?

Recently, a few users posted in our FB Q&A Group about their iPhone 13 Pro or 13 Pro max display green tint problem after iOS 16 updates. If you are experiencing a similar problem, then do consider these tips to get the problem fixed.

After getting confirmation that the Service center or Apple Customer care support won’t replace the display free of cost. Just get these two things via a written statement from them. also, service request submitted copies, when and where you gave it to service.

  1. Problem didn’t happen because of any internal or external damage caused by the user. And it happened because of software updates.

  2. That apple service center cannot replace the display free of cost or apple support will not take responsibility or give some confirmation that they can replace the display free of cost. The maximum we can pay is a service charge for the display replacement, which will come under 2000Rs maximum.

If you have any friends or family members as lawyers, it will make the process lot easier. I understand it may take some time to solve this case, but Rs 31000 from our pocket is ridiculous. When it’s not our fault, don’t pay for it.

Meanwhile, if apple brings up any free repair or replacement program in the coming weeks or months, then you can get it replaced under that program and may retract your complaint. Otherwise, proceed forward, and I am sure apple India will be made to compensate for the damage they have done if it is proven to be a software-caused problem or manufacturing defect.
