Hi bro…Need a help related to iphone 16 pro max.Early i was using iphone 12 ,which i exchanged recently and bought 16 pro max. After taking backup from iphone 12, i am started using 16 pro max.But now in settings,it is showing both old and new phone status of icloud backup.
Can you please suggest whether i am good to delete the old phone from my account.If i delete will i lose those old datas from my current mobile too?
hello bro, yes you can delete the old backup in icloud backup settings after verifying the data restore done successfully. if you delete icloud backup it wont delete any data stored in your device.
Just make sure that all the data restored are present on your iPhone and then you may delete the backup.
How to confirm that data is restored successfully
You will see the confirmation screen that the restore is done successfully bro. then when you connect to wifi the apps will be downloaded. but apps data are downloaded from icloud through this restore process.
