iPhone Not Charging Fast, takes 12 Hours to Reach 50%

Currently am using 14plus, I attempted to change the cables and adapters, but I consistently encountered the same charging issue, with it taking more than 12 hours to reach 50%.

The service centre recommended upgrading the iPhone instead of replacing or repairing the charging port, but they did not make an effort to diagnose the problem.

Should I opt for an upgrade or repair the phone? I still have three more months of warranty, and I hope the cost may be around 20k.

Your suggestions could assist me in finalizing my decision.

Sad to know bro. if service center confirms there is a damage with the charging port, then its either entire phone replacement is what they can do. just changing chharging port alone is not possible at apple service center as far as I know. But if they are suggesting 20K to get the phone replacement then go for it.

Otherwise you may check with another service center in nearby city. in cities like coimbatore or chennai, usually more than one service center option available. They may diagnose and tell you exactly whats the problem causing such slow speed issues even after changing the cables. trying original or mfi cable is always safe.

If budget allows, and you are getting good resale value as the phone is under warranty, you may go for upgrade too.

But the unit is still under warranty which means its New. so you have to decide according to the expense you are going to make here without tampering the warranty. when we replace the phone with apple service center, the same warranty is carry forwarded to our new iPhone 14 Plus.

So let me know which option seems possible and convenient to you.
