Recently the photos that I capture keeps loading and I am unable to share or edit the pictures that are captured. I am not sure why this happens and am i the only one having this difficulty.
I am using 15 pro max in 18.0.1
And to your notice i tried a shortcut run shared by one of the influencer to save all the pictures that are captured in iphone automatically from recents to a folder called Camera.
That run created a duplicate of all my pictures hence after all the photos are processed this way i stopped the shortcut and deleted the shortcut.
I am not sure if this will affect the loading a captured photo.
Please help!

also do you have icloud photos sync feature turned ON?
Hi bro, checked shortcut automation and nothing is currently running and yeah i do have icloud sync on. Do I have to change that settings or should i try changing the camera settings? I guess oru velai edhachu high clarity settings on la irundhu ipdi aagudha nu doubt.
Also I noticed that if i delete an image it’s not getting deleted from the photos app bro! Something’s really fishy!
Possibly iCloud sync is happening and if we have optimised storage feature ON under icloud photos sync settings, then the photos will be compressed. so that could be the reason for such clarity difference too.
once photos deleted it goes to recently deleted album. did you check it in photos app sis?
I did bro, once photos are deleted it doesn’t go to recently deleted folder, it will be gone from photos and again reappear in photos than recently deleted
And how to turn on optimised sync to iCloud?
The thing is the photos taken on Diwali day is still not loaded. Whenever i try to view the image the image is blurry and sometime i get error saying ‘error in opening high efficiency image’
But in my camera settings the images are in most compatible only not high efficiency.
I am feeling clueless on how to solve this issue!
that is strange. we can turn on the optimise storage option under icloud settings - photos. also have you updated to iOS 18.1 and see if there is any change in this? I have checked with my friend using icloud photos sync and its working perfectly for him.
also do you have wifi connected or trying to backup to icloud using mobile data? LTE or 5G?
so far no issues found. so check with above possibility after iOS 18.1 update and let me know if that helps sis.
Good morning bro, i have updated my device to 18.1 and i can say the bug is somewhat fixed, cz all the pictures are loading as of now but when i try to edit, delete or hide from the photos app the image keeps loading for edit. And for deleting and hiding the image, the photos are gone from recents but not going to the respective folder but again reappears in the photos app. And for editing the image/video very rarely i get the option to edit but when i try to save it doesn’t get saved and it keeps buffering.
I took the phone to nearest service centre they said there might be a bug in OS and its a very rarest scenario that i am facing, they asked me to back up the data to fully format the device and update the OS but at the same time they are also not sure if all the data will be backed up as we have iCloud sync issue.
I am trying the sync through wifi only but still its not completed as of now as well.
I am thinking to wait for the next iOS update as well to check if that can fix my bug! I do not wish to format my phone as of now.
Good morning sis, as suggest we have to do iOS Restore once as the problem is limited to your device. not happening for all users. Do you have full iPhone backup taken recently? because that also contains the photos and videos backup including all apps and data. its like the clone of iPhone backup stored in icloud that we can restore after iOS Restore simply by signing in with our apple id.
As you dont want to format your iPhone now, if its manageable continue using it. But if its bothering much in few days, then consider the above steps with stable wifi connection.
I can see that the last backup happened today morning around 5, will this backup all the data including photos, videos, whatsapp chats, contacts and other app datas?
Bcz the customer service person said if whatsapp didn’t pop up backup is found while booting up in the devide then there wont be any data of it, and he said he cant assure that datas will be available that is why am skeptical about formatting.
iCloud backup is different from whatsapp backup sis. is the whatsapp backup says that all data backed up recently? and yes if the first time we fail to restore whatsapp after fresh whatsapp install, then we wont be able to restore it later.
