Is it safe to update the ipad air 2 which came with ipadOS 14.2 to now the ipadOS 17?
Its 2014 model bro. its good to stay with older iPadOS version if you have no problem with any apps compatibility or with every day usage. Only if you want to experience latest iPadOS features then you may update to latest software.
If you see an option to update to iPadOS 15 or iPadOS 16 to download and install, then you may update to that previous version too.
Sorry bro i have mistyped it its actually an ipad 9 th generation wifi and cellular 128 GB and it directly shows for ipadOS 17.2 actually the reason im thinking it to update is because of lossless audio in apple music and its not showing in ios 14 and can u share any user experience with this kinda update on this model ipad?
Its alright bro. Older iOS version dont bring new features. my neighbour is using 9th gen and he is running latest iOS version. so far no issues reported. they are using it for youtube, netflix, prime and hotstar mostly.
rarely he uses it for casual web browsing and email. but mostly video watching and latest iPadOS version has no issues for him so far bro.
