My usage will be minimum. Mostly video watching web browsing and light coding. I will keep it for another 10 years

Hello bro, M3 Pro Macbook Pro is best buy for sure, but this spec is not necessary for your usage. its like a powerful machine suitable for programmers and video editors. for casual usage M4 Macbook Air with current offers is good to buy.
16GB RAM and 256GB Storage is more than enough bro. you may upgrade the storage 512GB and go for it if you are thinking about getting with more storage options for long term usage.
as its battery powered we have to change battery every 4.5 to 5 years once. mac can last longer if maintained well. 7 to 8 years is the time I would suggest to consider. then you can sell it for decent price and go for something latest at that time.
