Is M1 Macbook Air Worth Buying in 2023?

Hi Everyone,

I’m planning to buy Macbook Air M1 base model(8Gb , 256Gb ), price is 85k in online(Amazon).

my work is IT (Devops learnings { like running VM Ubuntu, Docker,Kubernetes,Terraform,Iac Tools} and small video editing) .Mostly I’ll use lot of chrome tabs 60+

pls suggest is this worth to buy in 2023.

hi bro, for VM, Docker and all other tools you have mentioned and to run more chrome tabs, I dont think base model will be sufficient. Mac is good at managing RAM and virtual memory to take most of our work loads. still, for smooth operations you may consider 512GB with 16GB RAM minimum. Docker is quite resource hungry.

So people mostly go with more than 16GB RAM and Macbook Pro models most of the times. but it depends on your budget bro.

Base model wont be suitable in your case bro.
