hello bro, it depends on the type of apps and projects you will be working on. if the project size goes higher with many edits and resource hungry then base model wont be sufficient bro. for average editing work flow video or image, base model is sufficient. M2 or m3 processor can handle. otherwise going with an upgrade is must for smooth long term experience.
getting m2 pro or m2 max processor will be good idea bro. RAM can be 8GB or 16GB based on how you multi task. going with 16GB ram also good choice in this case.
Storage you can connect with 1TB SSD and work with your projects. make sure SSD has 1000 mbps read and write speed. I hope it helps.
