I have M1 Macbook air which is connected to an external monitor for 14 hrs everyday. If I keep using this way does it affect my macbook battery health or should I buy a mac mini for prolong usage with external monitor?
no bro. I have used it since 2011 macbook pros so far no such issues noticed. if you haven’t purchased it yet and are looking for a desktop setup, then Mac Mini will be a wise choice. Only if you need portability and want to carry to other places, then you may consider macbook air.
