Macbook air M1 low power mode

Hi Robin bro, i had recently bought an Macbook air M1 base variant and i had noticed a feature in the battery called Low power mode while in iPhone when the battery drops to certain percentage the low power mode will turn on but in macbook it doesn’t automatically turns on when it goes to 20 or even 10 and we have to manually turn it on would you recommend using the low power mode throughout when its not connected to charger and will it improve the battery’s health overall ? TIA!

hello bro, till now apple didnt bring such automatic low power mode enable option. Mac usage is different between each user type, so the same iPhone like charging practice we can follow to maintain battery health overall. like avoid draining battery frequently. charge when it reaches 20 or 10% around. that will help for long term bro.

Got it Robin bro thank you soo much for the reply. So for now i have kept the Low power mode settings to only battery and when charging i wont use the low power mode. Can i keep the settings as it is like turning on low power mode during battery and turning it off while charging will it affect the battery percentage overall or do you recommend turning on the low power mode when it is necessary or can i maintain the same settings. Thank you

Using low power mode only when necessary is good bro. Some of our users do use it always and found no issues too. But not all system service will work normally when low power mode ON.
