Macbook Pro 2017 display issue - 80% of the screen went black

Hi Bro,

I’m facing display issue in my macbook pro 2017. Initially, the issue started with horizontal and vertical lines issue, the same persisted for 1 week post which 80% of screen went black and only 20% is visible.

Could you please let me know if connecting to external monitor will work as temporary solution ?

Hello bro, sorry to hear about it. I think it is hardware level issue. sometime it could be just a cable problem or display chipset related issue. but to conclude its recommended to check with apple service center once.
