Hi bro, nano texture is similar to matte finish display. it will cut down the glare but very small difference with image quality overall. if you are in a bright environment most of the time, then consider nano texture is good idea. otherwise go with glossy regular model bro.
Resale value depends on when you are going to sell it in future. normally used macs see big difference as many people want to go for under 1 lac when they plan for used mac models.
So choose the mac based on what your usage is going to be and when its time to change the mac, you can sell it to shops or sellers in future and go for upgraded one.

Congrats on your new macbook pro. we can use any thin type screen protector. suggested cheaper options and branded like spigen or esr can be considered too when it comes to screen protectors.
But we have to choose the one that is super thin.
