I Pre Ordered a iPhone 16 pro by trading in my iPhone 11 on 13th September 2024 through Apple website from chennai the delivery date is 26th Sep to 3rd Oct. will it takes that long to deliver? And the delivery person will give some to transfer all data to my new Iphone. Because I need to transfer my eSim and the data to my new Iphone?

hello bro, iPhone 16 Pro stock availability is an important factor here. so based on availability they update the dates. also some times they deliver bit earlier and notify you before coming to pick up exchange unit. delivery person wont give much time bro. so its safe to take backup of data to iCloud backup or local computer via iTunes. Temporarily get 1 or 2 months icloud subscription and take backup of your important data bro. that will help.
For SIM transfer I heard many users experiencing problem.
You can try sim transfer when phone delivered. otherwise delete the eSIM and we have to contact network provider and get QR code via registered email and do the esim transfer to new iPhone 16 Pro.
now a days the QR code is out dates and they are following the different process. in which also have lot of issues Bro. But thank you for the details bro. I will purchase a I Cloud storage for this month. Thankyou😊
