Hi @iRobinPro,
Apple has provided a separate custom password option for locking the notes in the Notes App.
But in most of our cases, the banking apps, payment apps and especially the new Passwords app has to be more secure than the notes app.
Someone who already knows our passcode or sees it from behind or through CCTVs while we enter the passcode to unlock our phone, can use it to access everything from our phone including all the passwords in the Passwords app.
There is no option to stop the iPhones from asking the screen lock passcode after the Face ID attempts exceeded. The same is the case with the new “Require Face ID” option as well.
It will be more secure if there is an option provided for requiring a separate custom password or apple id password to open the apps when the Face ID attempts exceeded instead of asking for the screen lock passcode.
I have seen people sharing their device passcode with colleagues, friends, etc., to unlock the device and make a phone call without realising that the same passcode can be used later to view all the passwords, two factor auth codes, passkeys from the Passwords app and the OTPs from Messages app, open the hidden albums, etc., etc.,
Expecting your suggestions to be more secure and your opinion about this topic.
